Walser Museum

For an interested visitor there is a wealth of information and valuable pieces about Kleinwalsertal, its history, inhabitants, customs and much more to be found here. On the second floor there is the “Walser housing tradition” and an original Alphütte. Ms. Resi Draxler demonstrates each Wednesday, how the “Chranz”, the head decoration of the Walser women, is manufactured.

Skimuseum Hirschegg Kleinwalsertal

An interesting exhibition about wintersports on the first and second floor of the Walserhaus – completed by a photo exhibition on the second floor.

The beginning and development of the alpine sport skiing- from 1905 till 1940.
